Connection over competition is one of the major backbones of this brand! I’ll give you a little background….
Something I’ve always been very aware of on the internet is comparison and competition. I remember always feeling like I was comparing myself to other women online and it was a constant battle. When I started this business I realized that those things also play out in the business world! There is so much competition between business owners and brands. People always feel the need to compare brands and I saw so many business owners accusing another brands of stealing their ideas and it drove me mad!
It got me thinking about where ideas come from and I realized that everything comes from some sort of inspiration. Literally everything. One idea spurs the next and the next and then trends form and we branch off those trends and form new ones. In a world where we follow trends like they are rules It would be physically impossible for everyone to sell completely different things and it would also be impossible for a single company to meet the demands of all the world! We would all be nothing without each-other. If there wasn’t hundreds of brands creating similar or the same style products there would be no such thing as trends.
Okay. I know.. you are like “Sarah, where are you going with this?” My point is that there is room for all of us. Markets aren’t too saturated and we can all be successful! What makes brands unique is the people behind it. And what makes a brand successful is the connections they build!
You don’t know how many times a customer has asked me for something specific and I’ve said “I actually don’t have anything like that right now, but you know who does….” I will always cheer on and support my fellow jewelry business owners.
We are all navigating this business world together and we need to realize it’s not a competition! Someone else’s success has absolutely nothing to do with your own success!
So here’s to celebrating connection over competition 🔗
